You will also play an important role in maintaining the overall organisation and flow of the practice. Job specification - Welcome patients and serve as a professional first point of contact, managing front-of-house duties including calls, enquiries, and appointment scheduling. - Conduct pre-screening assessments and preliminary tests to support the optometrist in delivering high-quality patient care. - Assist patients with frame and lens selection, offering guidance on style, fit, and suitability. - Process payments, manage orders, and maintain accurate, confidential patient records in line with data protection standards. - Work collaboratively with the optometrist and wider team to ensure smooth daily operations, providing dispensing support where applicable. Role scope
- Welcome patients, support pre-screening, diary flow, frame selection and handover.
- Keep the front-of-house experience organised, warm and commercially attentive.
- Work closely with optometrists, dispensing colleagues and practice leadership.
