We are seeking a Locum Optometrist to provide professional domiciliary eye care services across Hertfordshire . Job specification - Conduct comprehensive eye examinations in a domiciliary setting using portable diagnostic equipment. - Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions, ensuring timely and effective care. - Prescribe corrective lenses and provide expert advice on eyewear options tailored to individual needs. - Educate patients and caregivers about eye health and the importance of regular check-ups. - Collaborate with care home staff, family members, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including examination results and treatment plans. - Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. - Travel to various locations across Hertfordshire to provide flexible and accessible eye care services.
