Job specification - Assist optometrists by performing pre-testing and preparing patients for examinations. - Accurately dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses according to prescriptions. - Provide expert advice to patients on lens options, frame selection, and eyewear maintenance. - Ensure the optical dispensary adheres to health and safety standards and is well-organized. - Maintain and update patient records, including prescriptions and follow-up information. - Manage inventory, ensuring a diverse selection of frames and lenses are available. - Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction and repeat business. - Repair, adjust, and fit eyewear to ensure proper comfort and alignment.
