Verovian Optical Agency is seeking a talented Optician to join the confidential practice team in Warwickshire . As a skilled optician, you will conduct eye tests, provide expert advice, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. Job specification - Adjust and repair glasses as needed. - Assist customers in selecting appropriate eyeglass frame and lens options. - Educate customers on the proper care and use of their eyewear. - Interpret optical prescriptions from the optometrist or ophthalmologist. - Manage inventory and sales in our optical retail setting. - Stay up to date with industry developments and new products. - Take measurements of customers' eyes and faces to ensure proper fit of eyewear. Candidate requirements - Must be registered with the General Optical Council (GOC) - Must have 2-3 years of experience working as an optician (written references must be provided) - Must have a DBS - Be a member of ABDO (Association of Britain Dispensing Opticians). - Skillset- good communication abilities, teamwork, and handling any stressful situation. Role scope
